Motive est actuellement à la recherche d'un Directeur artistique exceptionnel pour rejoindre l’équipe de sa nouvelle IP. En tant que directeur artistique chez Motive, vous serez à la tête de la création d'un monde riche et captivant où les joueurs vont s'immerger. Vous serez au cœur du développement de la nouvelle IP: un membre de l'équipe principale, le lien entre la vision créative et les artistes et la voix de l'équipe artistique auprès du leadership.

Vous êtes un visionnaire qui motive, inspire et soutient son équipe pour transformer le concept en réalité. En tant que leader empathique et inspirant, vous donnez non seulement des conseils à votre équipe, mais vous laissez ses idées définir la direction artistique que vous établissez. Votre role

  • Travaillez avec le producteur exécutif et les directeurs de projet pour définir la vision d'un jeu
  • Collaborez avec les artistes principaux pour développer le ton artistique (créez l'ambiance, explorez les lieux, les moments clés, les contrastes émotionnels, les personnages, etc.)
  • Créez le guide de style visuel du jeu (mettre en place des tableaux d'ambiance, les références et les descriptions et autres)
  • Coordonner et superviser l'équipe artistique tout au long de la production
  • Trouver l'équilibre entre vision artistique et réalités techniques
  • Fournir un leadership et des commentaires constructifs pour atteindre la qualité requise
  • Collaborez avec les leaders et membres de l'équipe du projet à toutes les étapes du développement
  • Participer au recrutement pour construire et développer l'équipe artistique

Motive is currently looking for an exceptional Art Director to join its new IP team. As an Art Director at Motive, you will be at the helm of creating a rich and captivating world player will immerse themselves in. You are fundamental to a game’s development: a member of the core team, the connection between the creative vision and the artists, and the voice of the art team.

You are a visionary who motivates, inspires, and supports the art teams to transform concept into reality. As an empathetic and inspiring leader, you not only provide your team with guidance, but you let their ideas shape the artistic direction you establish. You have the talent and proven expertise to jump in and help produce visual content that is aligned with the creative vision and is, of course, AAA quality.

What you’ll do

  • Work with the Executive Producer and project directors to define the vision of a game
  • Partner with lead artists to develop the artistic tone (set the ambiance, explore locations, key moments, emotional contrasts, characters, etc.)
  • Create the visual style guide of a game (put together mood boards, references, and descriptions)
  • Coordinate and oversee the art team throughout production
  • Find the balance between artistic vision and technical realities
  • Provide leadership and constructive feedback to achieve quality
  • Collaborate with members of interdependent teams and studios in all stages of development
  • Participate in recruitment to build and grow the artistic team

What you bring

  • Have shipped a critically acclaimed AAA title as Art Director with Open World experience as a major asset
  • A solid understanding of all phases of video game production and knowledge of art tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of popular games, art fundamentals, and artistic culture
