The Challenge Ahead:

Quality Assurance Project Leads serve as the driver for the testing approach throughout a single project’s development cycle. They manage testing resources, building test plans, providing detailed metrics to all project partners, and developing direct reports.

What a QA Project Lead does at EA: 

Most of your time will be dedicated to the tactical decision-making associated with your team’s scope within the Apex Legends franchise. You will introduce and build upon a strategy drives up the individual and collective quality of the results we provide.

To achieve this, you will also spend your time collaborating with Respawn partners in development to understand how to best support the team. We want to improve operational efficiency by assessing QA strategies and evolving QA methodologies.

Additionally, as part of the team you will help develop your direct reports towards their future career goals. They will need your expertise and guidance as they grow into their roles.

The next great EA QA Project Lead also needs:

  • 1+ year of software industry experience, preferably in the video game sector
  • A proven track record of leadership and people management
  • Jira experience is not required, but you will need to learn fluency in this tool on the project
  • You will coordinate and communicate with the other Project Leads
  • To partner with remote/off-shore teams spread across multiple time zones
