AUDIO ARTIST 

Role Overview

Create Audio is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Audio Artist, with strong technical proficiency, who can make an immediate contribution to our team. You have core experience in select phases of audio design and production, in each key component – sound design, music, voice production, and implementation. You will work within the Create Audio team and have a basic understanding of game development. You will have a passion for video games, with an overwhelming desire to create an outstanding audio experience. 

Responsibilities

  1. Create quality audio for video games
  2. Submit final audio files on or before required deadlines
  3. Submit EQ and mastering of game music, sound effects or speech for audio review
  4. Sound design of source elements and speech editing, naming and file organization
  5. Building audio logic systems using visual scripting tools (MAX/MSP, Unreal Blueprints)
  6. Audio post production for in-game video content

Requirements

  1. Two years game audio or four years post-production experience
  2. Is proficient in using game development tools, technology and pipelines (Wwise, FMOD)
  3. Is comfortable with modern audio creation equipment, software and recording techniques, with a level of proficiency in at least one DAW
  4. Solid knowledge of PC and Mac hardware and software
  5. Good creative and technical thinker
  6. Work well as part of a team
  7. Strong artistic and creative sensibilities
