BioWare is seeking a Senior Outsource Producer who can help us grow our small outsourcing team into a robust and comprehensive outsource department that supports our projects in all aspects of development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project leadership to develop a comprehensive strategy for using outsource to improve quality, cost-effectiveness, flexibility and/or risk mitigation for our products.
  • Manage a team of outsource managers to ensure effective, consistent communication between outsource partners and internal development teams.
  • Define and uphold best practices for collaboration with vendors including vetting, onboarding, tasking, site visits, and sign-offs.
  • Lead your team in finding new partners and new ways to make outsourcing work for us.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with managing outsource relationships, ideally in a variety of disciplines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and possesses strong emotional intelligence skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work on complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors with minimal guidance.
  • Highly developed relationship-building skills in a multicultural and geographically diverse environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in game development with at least 5 years experience in senior outsourcing positions.
