Electronic Arts (EA) est à la recherche d’un directeur, Gestion de la marque mondiale dynamique et hautement motivé pour diriger le développement de marque d’une nouvelle propriété intellectuelle excitante en préparation au studio Motive de Montréal.   Relevant du directeur principal, Gestion de la marque mondiale, le candidat retenu sera responsable d’élaborer une stratégie de marque à long terme, de collaborer au développement aux stratégies de produit pluriannuelles, de favoriser des services en direct toujours disponible de guider une organisation mondiale multifonctionnelle.

Le candidat idéal est un stratège de marque de classe mondiale qui nourrit une pensée révolutionnaire et une expérience de lancement de produits de divertissement AAA. Il est un expert du consommateur avec une passion profonde du jeu et à la recherche d’une occasion d’innover et de mettre sa signature sur un projet. Il aura un sens aigu des affaires en matière de gestion des profits et pertes, d’analyse, de perspectives des consommateurs, de développement de produit et de stratégies commerciales; tout en démontrant des compétences créatives impressionnantes qui inspireront efficacement le joueur d’aujourd’hui. Nous sommes également à la recherche d’un esprit d’entrepreneuriat capable de combiner ses compétences stratégiques, créatives et d’affaires pour créer des plans exécutables qui donneront vie à la marque.

Ce que le Directeur, Gestion de la marque mondial fera

  • Diriger le marketing de marque grâce à un partenariat stratégique avec des partenaires du développement, de l’édition et du marketing afin de promouvoir le développement de marque de la nouvelle PI
  • Développer des objectifs de franchise, favoriser les initiatives clés et définir les IRC qui communiquent et mesurent le rendement de la marque et de la franchise
  • Collaborer avec le studio de développement pour influencer les caractéristiques de jeu, les usages et la portée de la PI développée à l’interne au moyen des perspectives de joueur et des besoins du marché
  • Définir le joueur cible et ses motivations, besoins et données démographiques associés
  • Développer un positionnement de marque et les avantages fondamentaux associés qui maximiseront l’occasion de la PI en développement
  • S’associer à l’équipe de leadership du studio et à l’équipe de développement de produit en matière de feuilles de route stratégiques de marque et de produit pluriannuels qui proposent la vision de la marque
  • Agir à titre de responsable des principales relations mondiales de partenariat de franchise et de marketing/édition pour s’assurer que les efforts sont axés sur la marque et la promotion de l’engagement du joueur et des objectifs d’affaires
  • Appuyer les équipes créatives dans la synthèse et la promotion du développement/de l’approbation des actifs créatifs de tout le contenu artistique et de campagne qui permettent une exécution sans faille

Qui es-tu?

  • Capacité d’identifier stratégiquement les occasions de marketing novatrices et d’élaborer des plans de marque selon l’interprétation des données et la synthèse des tendances en matière de culture, de consommateur, de marché et d’industrie
  • Expérience dans la visualisation et la formulation de programmes de marketing haute performance, la définition d’IRC rigoureux et le suivi de l’impact et du retour sur l’investissement
  • Collaborateur créatif ayant du succès dans la gestion d’agences créatives, la rédaction d’exposés percutants, et l’orientation de plans d’actifs stratégiques qui innovent notre façon de positionner nos marques face à notre public
  • Succès avéré dans l’élaboration et la gestion d’une équipe de marketing haute performance, la direction avec confiance en influençant et en inspirant les subordonnés et les équipes partenaires
  • Esprit d’entreprise à créer, à communiquer et à exécuter des plans novateurs à travers de multiples services, intervenants et cadres dirigeants
  • Familiarité à explorer/développer de nouveaux modèles d’affaires
  • Excellentes compétences cohérentes en communication écrite et orale
  • Passion pour le jeu un incontournable

Compétences/exigences minimales :

  • A. ou B.S. d’un établissement supérieur, diplôme MBA de préférence
  • Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience dans des rôles en marketing auprès de sociétés de premier plan, particulièrement dans le divertissement, le jeu et les jouets
  • Expérience dans la création de marques dès les premières étapes jusqu’à la mise en marché
  • Succès démontré dans la création de liens avec les studios ou les organisations de développement
  • Gestion de projet et coordination au sein de groupes fonctionnels et de partenaires externes
  • Grande expertise/compréhension du domaine mobile, du service en direct aux consommateurs, du commerce électronique
  • Excellentes compétences d’affaires, d’analyse et de pensée critique
  • Capacité de tisser des liens avec les hauts dirigeants
  • Excellentes capacités de communication et de collaboration
  • Capacité de briller dans un environnement rapide, dynamique et flexible

Electronic Arts (EA) is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Director, Global Brand Management to lead the brand development of an exciting new intellectual property being built out of Motive Studios in Montreal.   Reporting to the Sr Director of Global Brand Management, you will be responsible for developing the long-term brand strategy, partnering with development on multi-year product roadmaps, driving always-on live services, and guiding a global cross-functional organization.

The ideal candidate is a world class brand strategist, progressive thinker with experience launching AAA entertainment products. They are consumer experts with a deep passion for gaming and are looking for an opportunity to innovate and do signature work. They have a strong business acumen around P&L management, analytics, consumer insights, product development, and commercial strategies; while also displaying impressive creative skills that can effectively inspire today’s gamer. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirt who can combine strategic, creative and business skill to create actionable plans that bring brands to life.

 What the Director, Global Brand Management will do

  • Lead brand marketing via strategic partnership with Development, Publishing, and Marketing partners to drive brand development of new IP
  • Develop franchise objectives, drive key initiatives and establish KPIs that communicate and measure brand and franchise performance.
  • Partner with development studio to inform fundamental game features, lore and scope of internally developed IP through player insights and market needs.
  • Define of our player target and their associate motivations, needs and demographics
  • Develop brand positioning and associated core brand benefits that will maximize the opportunity of IP in development.
  • Partner with Studio Leadership and Product Development on strategic, multi-year brand and product roadmaps that deliver on the brand vision.
  • Serve as lead for key global franchise and marketing/publishing partner relationships to ensure efforts are on brand and driving player engagement and business objectives.
  • Support creative teams in briefing and driving creative asset development/approvals of all key art and campaign content that allows us to execute flawlessly.

Who you are?

  • Ability to strategically identify innovative marketing opportunities and author brand plans based on interpreting data and synthesizing cultural, consumer, market, and industry trends.
  • Experience envisioning and articulating high-performance marketing programs, setting strong KPIs and tracking impact and ROI.
  • A creative collaborator with success managing creative agencies, writing impactful briefs, and guiding strategic asset plans that innovate how we position our brands to our audience.
  • Proven success building and managing a high performing marketing team, leading with confidence and through influence and inspiring direct reports and partner teams.
  • Entrepreneurial fortitude to create, communicate and execute innovative plans through multiple departments, stakeholders and executives.
  • Familiarity exploring/developing new business models
  • Excellent, consistent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for gaming is a must.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BA/BS from a top-tier institution and MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years experience in marketing roles at top tier companies, especially in entertainment, gaming, and toys.
  • Experience building brands from early inception to go to market
  • Demonstrated success at building relationships with studio/development organizations.
  • Project Management and coordination across functional groups and external partners.
  • Strong expertise/understanding of mobile, consumer live service, e-commerce.
  • Solid business, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at executive level.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible environment.
