Position Overview

Our mobile team is currently looking for a UI artist to bring both their practical problem-solving skills and creative visual sense to the EA Sports Mobile Team! The UI Artist will report directly to Art Director in FIFA Mobile China.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Create art assets (in-game brandings, packs, cards, tiles, banners, etc.,) for live program and events
• Deliver high quality and optimized 2D UI assets on schedule
• Estimate accurately work while making smart trade-offs between quality and pace
• Design and implement an aesthetically beautiful, innovative and friendly user experience.
• Create mock-ups and motion graphic animatics, adhering to a given style and artistic direction while iterating based on feedback
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure EA branded games are of high quality and competitive

 

Required Skills and Experience

• Three or more years of professional game design experience.
• Excellent conceptual, illustration and graphic design skills.
• Understand image, color and text layout for image placement.
• Understand flow, composition, and design as they relate to the user experience.
• Ability to quickly learn in-house UI development tools.
• Ability to adapt and be effective in a highly dynamic and agile environment.
• Efficient and speedy work practices for quick turn-around time under deadline pressure.
• Strong understanding of Adobe Products: Photoshop, Illustrate, After Effects
• Ability to build animations from conception and collaboration as a plus
• Experience with Unity3D preferred.
• A passion for playing and making great games!
