Position Title: Sr. Technical Product Manager 1

External Description:

Role Summary

As a Sr. Product Manager of Checkout & Payments, you are responsible for EA’s player experience and metric for all global purchases on PC. These purchases include Games, Downloadable Content, Micro Transactions and Subscriptions. Checkout UI manifests into EA’s games and storefronts such as Origin & Pogo. EA’s global payments acceptance includes Credit Cards and local payment methods. Additionally, Fraud Management tools are a key part of Payment Acceptance. This is a high visibility role that requires thought leadership and influence with the executive leadership team.

Responsibility & Skills

  • Identify gaps/opportunities that can be translated to features. Quantify the opportunity in terms of value to players and EA.
  • Prioritize features based on value, de-risked execution and a maximized development resource ROI. Work with program team to capture data points on schedules / timelines.
  • Build and communicate the feature roadmap to various stakeholders including executives.
  • Enable decisions on must-have vs. good-to-have by understanding player needs. Utilize information on competitors/peer-products to build best-in-class software. 
  • Write Product Specs in the form of Epics and User Stories that can be easily consumed by engineering. Work collaboratively with engineering to understand tradeoff. Communicate tradeoff & scope decisions to stakeholders. Collaborate with other Product Managers to build a cohesive offering.
  • Own the metrics. Build products with metrics in mind. Define success and measure it.
  • Lead product reviews on platform/service health. Be selective on which metrics to review with leadership including execs and c-level.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering Leadership team to create a platform strategy that positions EA’s content for future success.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience and a successful track record in a Product Management role at an internet / technology company.
  • Ability to think strategically, develop roadmaps, and execute to launch features. 
  • Able to comfortably present to executives and both technical and non-technical audience.
  • Bachelors or Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
