What an Assistant Video Editor does at EA:

As an Assistant Video Editor, you will work alongside a creative team of artists to ensure our marketing content is delivered at the highest quality and competed on a world class level. The Assistant Editor will be responsible for supporting the Editorial team with direction from the Lead Editor or Creative Director.

 

Key Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with editing a variety of successful projects.
• Motion graphics experience.
• Strong ability to multi-task and work within deadlines.
• Listen and filter information, reach conclusions and take appropriate actions in support of project execution.

 

Assistant Video Editor also needs:

• Experience of a similar role within a dynamic commercial environment.
• • A passion for storytelling and an understanding of post-production pipelines.

• • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • An open & honest proactive approach to communication.
  • Ability to communicate to people at all levels, both internally & externally.

  • A motivated self-starter with a desire to contribute & shape the business.

  • Stays committed to the team & business ethic; maintains a positive outlook in everything they do.

 

• Technical skills
• • Proficient in all Adobe products with a focus on Premier, After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Basic knowledge of video codecs, file formats, frame rates, compression and resolutions.
  • Basic understanding of computer operations, setup and maintenance.
  • Production knowledge and experience including camera operation, audio recording, lighting etc. is a plus.
