We are looking for a UX Research Manager who has a passion for directly overseeing and leading a Team of Researchers evaluating gaming experiences through outstanding research. Your work will involve engaging with business leaders across the organization to provide essential insights in the field of research and translating long term strategy into operational goals. You are motivated and excited to be part of a accomplished and advanced UX research team that builds partnerships across the organization and helps shape the future of EA’s games.

Leadership:

  • Develop team, including overseeing new employee on-boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
  • Build and evolve team; identifies resourcing needs, provides challenges and developmental opportunities to ensure that all Team members reach their potential.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with immediate team and those outside of the immediate team that have an impact on the Global success of the UXR Team.
  • Actively participates in the hiring process.
  • Collaborative, team-minded person who drives toward better outcomes for the business and the team.
  • Lead team to meet expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Work with studio leadership to understand franchise goals and strategies to develop long-term user research plans and schedules for EA’s titles.
  • You have build relationships at all levels of the organization including senior and executive level management.
  • Partner across organizational and Global teams with a variety of disciplines (analysts, designers, product owners, market researchers, producers, etc.) to produce insights which improve the trajectory of their product work.
  • Nurture the insights organization by contributing to the development of team-wide research processes, working closely with people managers to grow skill-sets and capabilities on the global research team.
  • Provide direction and leadership to team members and peers by developing strategies, collaborating, promoting ideas and viewpoints.
  • Effectively communicate research results to multiple levels of the organization in creative ways that promote impact.

Requirements:

  • Multiple years (5+) industry experience successfully managing a Team.
  • Education requirement, University degree Bachelors or equivalent professional experience.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels and organizations.
  • Work in a dynamic and environment that values collaboration.
  • Project management skills.
  • Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of set processes to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output
