What does the Frostbite team do?

We develop the Frostbite engine, which means bringing the engine to some of the most acclaimed franchises in the business such as Battlefield and FIFA. Frostbite leverages its proprietary technical advantages to empower game creators to shape games and push the boundaries of what they can achieve.

We are located across North America (Vancouver, Orlando, Montreal), Europe (Guildford, Stockholm, Bucharest), and Australia (Melbourne).

What does a Program Manager do?

As a Program Manager, you will partner with the Product and Engineering Managers to drive execution and demonstrate end to end ownership of complex, cross group programs to successful completion. You will help craft and manage department wide development processes, including program increment planning, progress tracking, and team-wide collaboration and communication. You will also help lead the scaled agile transformation across the team.

Responsibilities

Program Planning and Management

  • Manage multiple programs across many teams in a global environment
  • Determine the resource requirements to meet programs goals
  • Evaluate and resolve dependencies and establish success criteria
  • Successfully deliver programs using Agile development in a distributed development environment
  • Track and communicate progress against committed deliverables
  • Estimate the impact of change requests on program schedule, budget, and resources
  • Risk management

Process Management

  • Coordinate the program increment process across teams; from planning to delivery and retrospective
  • Drive scaled agile transformation, implement changes in process and tooling across the organization
  • Design and drive implementing process and tooling improvements across teams

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of program management experience in a high tech or video games company
  • Experience in various program management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with distributed development across multiple locations
  • Strong negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • Agile at scale experience preferred
