The Challenge Ahead

The European People Practices Team supports EA’s International Publishing Organization in achieving its business goals by supporting the strategic management of the Business Unit and leading the delivery of people Experience programs, services, and initiatives.

The People Practices coordinator will be responsible for providing operational support to EA Geneva and EA Lyon People Practices team. The duties of this position are varied, from day to day operations to working on new projects.

You will be based in the Geneva Office but expected to travel to the EA Lyon Office. Note that this is a mandatory requirement.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and issue People Experience (PE) correspondence (Employment offers, Work Certificates, Visa Invitation letters, etc.)
  • Internship Management (manage relationship with schools, candidates and internal teams and follow up on interns onboarding)
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation, presenting the company to new hires and explaining company policies.
  • Manage New hire onboarding administration (ensure completion of payroll and benefits onboarding forms)
  • Organize, maintain employee files and forms and assist in audit reviews
  • Perform some data input into the various PE information systems
  • Manage inter-company transfers (in-bound and out-bound relocation follow up)
  • Manage leaves of absence
  • Work closely with payroll manager in processing employee job data changes
  • Run, manipulate and analyze various employee information and headcount reports
  • Provide operational support to the Geneva People Practices Team. This includes managing employee benefits such as Pension plan and Health and Accident Insurances.
  • Be the main point of contact Answer general employee questions
  • Assist in PE communication and program or project implementation
  • Coordination of training (logistics, room bookings etc.).
  • Manage Leaving employees process (prepare necessary documents, conduct exit interviews)

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bi-lingual French and English, but excellent French speaking/writing is mandatory
  • Required minimum 2 years of HR experience.
  • Good knowledge of Swiss Social Security plans and basic knowledge of Swiss Labour Law
  • Basic knowledge in French Payroll and Labour Law
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel (intermediate). Knowledge of Workday recommended.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily work
  • Team player
