Position Title: Business Development Associate

Senior Associate, Corporate Strategy & Strategic Planning

Location: EA Redwood Shores

 

The Corporate Strategy team works with EA’s executive leadership team in shaping strategies to drive growth and innovation across the company as well as stay ahead of tech and games industry trends.  Corporate Strategy’s remit covers strategy setting/planning, consulting, research, and market intelligence. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to thought leadership pieces for EA's executives covering short, medium, and long-term trends affecting the video games industry across consumer behavior, technology, and market dynamics
  • Help manage and evolve the strategic planning process at EA working at the EVP and SVP levels 
  • Work with cross-functional teams and own the creation of all material for EA's Board of Directors
  • Conduct strategic analyses using a hypothesis-driven approach and synthesize conclusions to be presented to internal leaders
  • As needed, contribute to other projects across the Corporate Strategy team covering strategic growth partnerships and game/studio strategy

  Skills / Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience, with experience at a top tier consulting firm or similar strategy role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Knowledge and ability to apply standard business frameworks (e.g. SWOT, value chain, competitive forces, core competency analysis)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint or similar presentation software
  • Proficiency in business writing and verbal communications
  • High level research skills and ability to synthesize large quantities of information into executive summaries
  • Knowledge of the games industry preferred
  • MBA preferred, but not required
