  • Setup, document and manage the project’s pipeline for colour grading and post-effects.
  • Guide and tutor art staff on project best practices.
  • Participate in art reviews, with an eye towards identifying technical divergences or opportunities.
  • Act as a subject matter liaison within the wider EA development community.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with the Art team.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of modern rendering techniques.
  • Capable of creating complex shaders, either via a graph editor or HLSL/GLSL.
  • Proficient in the use of Substance Designer, Photoshop and Maya/3dsMax.
  • Good understanding of runtime lighting solutions and techniques.
  • Knowledge of software rendering solutions, such as Arnold, Vray or Mental Ray is an asset.
  • Ability to script/program in Python, C# or C++ is an asset.
  • Experience producing Art content for AAA games.
  • Experience with the full development cycle of AAA games.
  • Experience working on current console platforms (PS4/Xbox One) and PC.
  • Solutions-oriented approach to runtime performance and artistic needs.
  • Holds their work to high standards and desires to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Strong teamwork skills but also the ability to take ownership and work independently.
  • Passion for making games look and play great.
