The Challenge Ahead

Tracktwenty is Electronics Arts’ mobile game studio based in the centre of Helsinki. The studio has created the genre defining city builder, SimCity BuildIt, reaching more than 200 million mobile players worldwide to date.

As well as growing SimCity BuildIt, the studio’s passionate team of programmers, artists, designers, marketers and analysts are working to create the next break-out hit to come out of Finland for EA Mobile.

Tracktwenty is now seeking a UX Designer to join our journey.

As a UX Designer you will work in close collaboration with multiple teams to ensure the best user experience for our players.

 

  • Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Photoshop, Adobe XD, Flash, Axure and Balsamiq
  • Experience in game interface and interaction design
  • Understanding of user centric design principles
  • Interpret and integrate results from usability testing and live game metrics to improve usability
  • Collaborate with Game Designers and UI Designers to translate game systems into easy to use interfaces for mobile devices
  • Visualize designs through wireframes, mocks and prototypes to communicate and test design concepts
  • Produce detailed interface flows and design specs with requirements and use cases for implementation of final game user interface

 

Plus considered skills:

 

  • Shipped Mobile titles as UX Designer
  • Studied Human-Computer Interaction
  • Good knowledge of the use of design patterns
  • Experience with usability testing
  • Knowledge of in-editor scripting in Unity
