Position Title: Senior Manager, Finance

External Description:

The Corporate Strategy team works closely with EA’s executive leadership team in shaping strategies to drive growth and innovation across the company as well as stay ahead of tech and games industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the evolution of strategic planning at EA with SVP’s and EVP’s
    • Work alongside the Head of Corporate Strategy in evolving and building out a robust strategic planning framework
    • Lead strategic planning with senior leaders ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategy
  • Oversee the creation of research perspectives to inform EA strategy
    • Stay abreast of key trends in the game and wider entertainment industry, assessing implications to EA’s strategy to inform exec level decision making
    • Lead market research and macroeconomic analysis to identify correlated leading marketing indicators related to business verticals and end markets outlook
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of EA’s products and performance in the market
    • Oversee the creation of analysis and presentations for the Board of Directors
  • Support the creation of long-term strategies with key leaders across EA
    • Be a thought leader across multiple disciplines at EA, driving strategy conversations with senior executives across all business units
    • Partner with senior leaders and c-level executives to develop strategic plans that ensure continued business growth
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team

Skills / Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the games industry, trends, and the key players is a must for this role
  • Knowledge and ability to apply standard strategy frameworks (e.g. SWOT, competitive forces, core competency analysis)
  • 3+ years of experience at a top tier consulting firm or similar strategy role within the digital entertainment industry
  • 6+ years of total professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team
  • Strong proficiency in business writing and verbal communications.
  • Strong presentation skills; confidence and poise in delivering to senior executives
  • MBA preferred, but not required
