Nous sommes à la recherche d’un concepteur principal de personnages passionné par la création de personnages réalistes de haute qualité et qui désire se joindre à nous pour propulser la qualité au niveau supérieur.

Responsabilités

  • Sculpter des personnages haute résolution
  • Créer une topologie de jeu, des maillages UV et des textures clairs
  • Collaborer avec la production pour organiser, planifier et gérer les tâches quotidiennes de l’équipe de création de personnages
  • Collaborer avec les autres services pour veiller à ce que la création de personnages respecte les besoins de conception du jeu
  • Contribuer au concept et à la création de personnages
  • Travailler avec le directeur artistique pour améliorer et maintenir la qualité visuelle élevée des modèles de personnages
  • Collaborer avec les ingénieurs et les artistes techniques pour développer un pipeline artistique de personnages efficace
  • Offrir du mentorat aux équipes de personnages internes et externes au moyen de rétroaction verbale et écrite
  • Communiquer la conception visuelle et le développement de personnages au moyen de spécifications artistiques, de guides de style et de matériel de référence
  • Offrir de la rétroaction aux partenaires externes

Exigences souhaitables

  • Expérience à titre de concepteur principal de personnages dans un environnement de production de jeu
  • Excellente compréhension de l’anatomie et compétences artistiques fondamentales
  • Excellente connaissance de Maya ou d’un logiciel de modélisation 3D similaire
  • Compétences spécialisées en sculpture avec ZBrush
  • Connaissance spécialisée des flux de travail du rendu physiquement réaliste (PBR) pour la texture/le matériel
  • Expérience avec Marvelous Designer et la création de vêtements
  • Création de cheveux et de pilosité faciale haute résolution
  • Modélisation de surface dure
  • Expérience avec Substance Painter ou Mari
  • Expérience de la photogrammétrie
  • Compréhension des concepts de rigging et de skinning
  • Connaissance de la création d’expressions faciales avec la fonction Blendshapes selon le FACS
  • Excellentes compétences de communication et d’organisation
  • Passion pour la collaboration avec d’autres artistes, concepteurs et programmeurs
  • Sens critique du détail

Lead Character Artist

What you'll do...

  • Sculpt high-resolution characters
  • Create clean game topology, UV’s and textures
  • Collaborate with Production to organize, schedule, and manage the character art team’s day to day activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the Character art meets the game design needs
  • Assist in character concept and design
  • Work with Art Director to drive and maintain high visual quality of character models
  • Partner with engineers and tech artists to develop an effective character art pipeline
  • Mentor the internal and external character teams through verbal and written feedback
  • Communicate the visual design and development of the characters through art specifications, style guides and reference material
  • Deliver feedback to outsourcing partners
