Our US Payroll department is in Redwood City CA.  The Payroll Administrator will be working with the Payroll team which is responsible for processing the timely and accurate biweekly multistate payroll for 3700 US employees.

 Responsibilities

Assist in the processing of bi-weekly multi-state payroll for US employees via the ADP ProBusiness payroll system

  • Perform manual calculations of payroll exceptions; New Hires, Terminations, status and rate changes, etc.
  • Perform various audits of source documents against system uploads and manual entries
  • Understanding of payroll earning and deduction taxation, pretax and posttax, and exempt
  • Apply proper taxation for F1 and J1 Visa employees
  • Interpret and process government and court issued support orders and wage garnishments
  • Ability to create, maintain, and keep organized Payroll Employee records
  • Import data files from outside sources for payroll processing
  • Create AdHoc reports for external reporting to Business Partners
  • Assist with special projects as required

Skills and Experience

  • Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to work effectively with peers, business partners and employees at all levels
  • Understanding of corporate setup and operating under several FEINs
  • Emphasis on accuracy and detail oriented
  • Analytical skillset that allows for critical thinking for problem solving
  • ADP/ProBusiness and report writing experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under constant processing deadlines
  • Maintain data integrity with discretion and confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Contribute to overall department efficiencies by identifying and developing solutions
