Position Title: Software Engineer II

External Description:

Madden is looking for an experienced software engineer with relevant systems level knowledge. The engineer should have the following requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience 
Strong C++ architecting and engineering skills
Experience in object-oriented design and implementation. 
Able to drive systems optimizations on large scale infrastructure. 
Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in highly complex systems and drive performance optimizations.
Understanding of memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization.
Good understanding of hardware architecture
Ability to test, debug, and extend other Software Engineer's code competently. 
Familiar with multi-threaded concepts and job-based programming

 

Experience with assembler (PowerPC, ARM), scripting languages (Perl, Python, Lua) and C#.
Understanding and experience of job-based architectures.
Prior experience shipping a console (i.e. PS3, Xbox 360) or handheld (i.e. DS, Sony PSP, Android) product is a plus.
Expertise and experience in a core domain such as rendering, AI, audio, online, user interfaces, multi-processor systems, etc.
