EA Localization team are accountable for delivering the high-quality Localized versions of EA games. You will work on a wide variety of tools and systems used for the localization of games, web titles, marketing materials, etc. Those systems will have modules for Business & Project Management, workflow automation, CRM, Text, Audio, Image and video asset management and distribution of those assets to/from our vendors and external partners.

The Challenge Ahead:

Play a senior role within the Audio Localization team with the objective of improving the Localization cost-efficiency, predictability and transparency with regards to structure, processes, data and cost models.

 

 

What a Financial Business Analyst does at EA:

 

  • Contribute to the Audio Localization team with focus on forecast and billing accuracy, cost monitoring and efficiency, and transparency, as required by the business.
  • Play a key role, in the relevant area of expertise, in identifying, implementing and supporting the infrastructure and the processes needed to allow the Localization department to achieve its SG&A and Project Billing targets.
  • Provide stakeholders with Audio data and insight for them to make decisions, understanding the business dependencies
  • Assist in identifying, implementing, tracking and publishing departmental Key Performance Indicators and metrics aimed at measuring productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Interact with the Localization teams, and the other key stakeholders, both internal and external, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to develop and implement the proper solutions.
  • Act as the department Legal POC for ant related Audio Vendor Voice-over agreement related enquiries.
  • Create and preserve an EA culture according to our EA values.

The next great Financial Business Analyst also needs:

  • Excellent English skills. Fluent both written and orally.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills 
  • Balance the conflicting needs of quality, time & cost to deliver solutions that meet the business needs.
  • Provides data, analytical and statistical guidance for the business.
  • Generates data graphs and visuals with ease so that insights are easily understood.
  • Problem solving and openness to new ideas.
  • Good understanding of localization processes, video games requirements and methodologies.
  • Experience in dealing with Worldwide legal and FP&A corporate teams
  • Experience in Vendor management is a plus
  • Experience in VO recordings and dealings with recording studios would be desirable

To be successful as a Financial Business Analyst you should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Commercial Acumen:  Ability to explore and understand the inter-relations of the business processes, financial metrics, and organizational systems and structures.  Through the development of effective business relationships knows the key issues and challenges within the respective areas of the business supported.   Can think strategically and has a good understanding of the wider business context, including strategy and goals, road maps, organisational performance, and financial processes.
  • Data analysis: Needs to understand what data can be used, how the data should be structured, how to combine data sources, etc.  In addition, analysis involves the selection of analytical techniques and methodologies to use to make the right analytical conclusions.
  • Analysis, reporting & conclusions: Needs to understand potential data quality challenges, proper filters to apply to the data foundation, execute the analysis, use the right analytical/statistical methodologies, create reports that visualize the data and insight in the right way. Needs to come up with clear conclusion.
  • Self-starting, willing to take ownership and a proactive approach, autonomous.
  • Customer focused & teamwork oriented.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure.
