Position Title: Assoc DM I

External Description:

Main Purpose of the Role

 

  • Handle all Testing Automation Initiatives internally, with Localization Stakeholders and within CDS. Manage communication with EAV and EARO counterparts, as well as the Horde team.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure the management of all technical initiatives including LT team and potential testing optimization.
  • Handle all communication with LT Management through regular updates

 

Business Analysis

  • Define and run return of investment exercises and cost-benefit analysis to justify needs, investments and funding

 

Project Management

  • Handle all communication with Automation tools PMs in all EA teams involved
  • Responsible for detecting, understanding, analysing, communicating, prioritizing and following until resolution the risks impacting allocated initiatives
  • Provide all needed documentation related to these initiatives, making sure to be aligned with LT and PM management teams
  • Planning and refining timelines of allocated initiatives

 

Product Management

  • Manage the different projects backlogs
  • Establish user stories based on feedback gathered from different stakeholders, internal to LT and external.

 

Special Considerations

LT is a dynamic area where there are peak periods of activity (April – November). The work load and the make-up of teams vary. It is therefore necessary that the incumbent has experience of working in a team environment of constant change.

 

Skills and Knowledge Required

 

  • English writing skills (creative and business)
  • Strong background in Project Management
  • Advanced or in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment

 

Skills and Knowledge Preferred

 

  • Technical background. University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent educational or working background.
  • Excellent knowledge in the foundations of Software Engineering and Development Life Cycle: requirement and business analysis, design, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, quality management
  • Good knowledge of different development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Prototyping, Extreme Programming…)
  • Previous experience:
    • the videogames Localization industry
    • working in a multi-cultural team
    • the game development industry
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the video games industry
  • Demonstrate knowledge of video game platforms (PC, consoles & software)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of EA LOC tools (Jira, DevTrack, Mosaic, HAL…)
