This exciting role is deeply engaged in the design and administration of the executive compensation programs for executives. Develops the communications for base pay, short and long-term compensation, and other programs to executives. Ensures executive compensation programs are aligned to the market. Supports and coordinates the necessary analysis and materials for the Compensation Committee meetings and external reporting requirements. An excellent mix between program management, writing, financial understanding, compensation plan design, and deep compensation analysis and modeling.

Reporting to VP, Total Rewards, this role will be on point to plan, design, develop, analyze, propose, and implement compensation strategies and programs consistent with the company business and talent strategies across the businesses, functions, and/or geographic areas of the company. Consults with and trains business leaders to develop, plan and implement innovative solutions to address unique organizational needs and requirements. Interacts consultants, vendors, employees, and third parties to ensure program delivery. Analyzes and interprets internal and external data to model changes to various reward elements such as base salary, short-term incentives and long-term incentives and other programs. Examines impact of rewards on the total organization and various sub-groups including Board members and executives globally. Monitors legal and regulatory changes to ensure compliance. Integrates reward programs with complimentary systems (e.g., Performance Management and Talent Management).

 

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and coordination of Compensation Committee materials
  • Supports the drafting of the CD&A section of the Proxy statement for shareholders, including accumulation of data and preparation of tables used in the proxy.
  • Assists with the design, administration and communications regarding the annual incentive plan and long-term performance plan for executives
  • Influences senior leadership and makes recommendations that drive outstanding talent retention and acquisition at the executive level
  • Supports the management of global Long-Term Incentive Program
  • Conducts ad-hoc compensation analyses and research projects. Identifies and seeks multiple data points for evaluation and assess effectiveness of executive compensation programs. Evaluate executive positions and develops appropriate compensation recommendations
  • Exhibits strong familiarity with tax rules and financial regulations relevant to executive compensation
  • Assists with the completion of the relevant investor documents, footnote disclosures and other ad-hoc reporting and disclosure requirements
  • Collaborates with internal partners, including Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Stock Administration.
  • Ensures compliance with Global Regulatory bodies and internal policies and procedures.

 

Knowledge And Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to executive compensation, including emerging legislation.
  • Superior communication, leadership, consulting, influence skills.
  • Expert in data analytics and modeling with using Excel
  • Details oriented, hands-on and able to keep the best quality and accuracy when present data
  • Expert in equity compensation methodology and modeling
  • Exceptional financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies.

 

Education And Experience Required

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • 10+ years related experience which includes at least five years in executive and equity compensation
