We are looking for humble but driven digital natives who are passionate about competitive gaming(CG), football, and who want to create the future of interactive entertainment. We are setting up a global team to strategically drive competitive gaming for the EA SPORTS FIFA franchise.

One key piece of the team is the Technical Events Producer.  As the Technical Events Producer, you’ll lead a key team and key projects that will shape the success of Competitive Gaming for EA SPORTS FIFA. You’ll join a tightly integrated team which focuses on operations and execution of events and ensures that our latest and greatest technology is integrated into tournaments and live events. Your collaborative mind-set will help build partnerships both internally with the development team and externally with third party partners to ensure that all tournaments are running smoothly.

Responsibilities

The Technical Events Producer will focus on supporting the Commissioner and FIFA CG team in meeting key milestones to support technical elements around both EA Live Events and Third-Party live events, their duties will include:

  • Manage communication workflow with external partners for events, acting as a primary point of contact for event production, execution and technical aspects
  • Build workflows to create repeatable, manageable process around event support and event approvals.
  • Drive efficiencies in event operations through smart use of technology and repeatable process.
  • Collaborate with FIFA Commissioner, Program Management Team, Associate Tournament Producer and FIFA development team to manage support needs and expectations for third party live events pipeline
  • Integrates with development teams to make sure events can be successfully executed in market
  • Assist with the production and technical support of EA run live events, including technical integrations of platforms and streaming
  • Create and maintain project tracking for key projects and events across the team
  • Provide weekly updates to key stakeholders on support and technical status of third party events 

 

Key Requirements

  • At minimum, two years of experience in the video game industry or event production
  • Experience in video-gaming events or esports highly desirable
  • Passion for FIFA, video games, and competitive gaming.
  • Must have a passion for technology and creating solutions using technology
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships built on mutual trust.
  • Proven success leading groups without direct authority.
  • Self-Motivated Individual with an ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal)
  • Ability to manage projects on schedule.
  • Ability to work on call and on weekends when necessary to support tournament efforts.
  • Ability to travel frequently up to 50% of the time
