Motion Graphics Artist (Contract)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Motion Graphics Artist to help create stunning graphics for Madden NFL. Motion Graphics Artists are responsible for creating real-time assets for our in-game experience – such as 3D logos for the Team Matchup and Wipes. The goal is to enhance the presentation of the game.

Motion Graphics Artists work closely with Art Direction, Designers, and our UI/UX department.

What does EA look for?

• Strong portfolio, focusing on motion graphics. Please provide a link to your online demo reel.
• Strong “generalist” skillset that encompasses modeling, texturing, and animation is also a must.
• Experience with Cinema4D, Maya, and Photoshop is a must.
• Must be comfortable working with quick turnarounds.
• Must be comfortable working with multiple disciplines; specifically Designers, Software Engineers, UI/UX, and Art Directors.
• Must be comfortable taking direction as well as innovating when there’s a need.
• Strong focus on quality while working within a designated timeframe.
• Experience working in a game engine and with real-time assets is preferred.
• Knowledge of Illustrator a plus.
• Sports knowledge and enthusiasm a plus.
