Position Title: Art Director

External Description:

Art Director responsibilities:


• Establish yourself as a valued member of the franchise leadership team.
• Develop a rich understanding of the franchise and the culture of the sport that surrounds it.
• Create a compelling visual strategy for the franchise, gaining support from all key stakeholders: production, marketing, franchise executives, visual creation team leadership, et al.
• Ensure that a meaningful timeline and budget are put in place to deliver the agreed visual experience.
• Inspire and support the visual creation teams throughout development with clear direction, concise feedback and patient mentorship.
• Advocate for the franchise's visual experience through marketing materials, presentations, interviews and talks; both externally and within the company.

 

Desired Skills:

8+ years of experience as an Art Director, creative director or a similar role.
Ability to effectively direct and delegate
Able to give effective critiques and take feedback & criticism
Demonstration of strong all-round art skills in both 2D and 3D
Game development, advertising and or film experience a plus
Solid understanding of popular games and their art direction a plus
Knowledge of the NBA, and the culture surrounding the sport of basketball a plus.
