Position Title: Software Engineer I

External Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Frostbite team!

Frostbite is a technology and collaboration platform for diverse game franchises, such as FIFA, Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Need for Speed and Plant vs. Zombies Garden Warfare. Thousands of game developers all over the world are using Frostbite to create some of the best-looking games in the industry!

You will be a part of our talented network team, driving our technology forward to power future Frostbite titles. In the team we collaborate closely, we learn from each other and work together to ensure game teams around the world can create amazing multiplayer experiences for our players.

Responsibilities

• Together with the team maintain our low-level solutions and develop new networking features to be used in future games
• Guide our network tech forward
• Undertake performance profiling and complex optimization work

Qualifications

• C++, data-oriented design and software architecture skills
• Experience of network technologies and multiplayer programming
• Profiling and optimization skills
• Service minded
• Eager to know more and enjoys working in a learning culture

Bonus Qualifications

• Console development experience
• Experience with agile development methodologies
