External Description:

EA is looking for a summer intern to help design, refine, and optimize enterprise-level workflows designed for dynamic content deployment across our portfolio of games and to the millions of players within our network.

This internship will be part of the Dynamic Omnichannel Messaging (DOM) team, a centralized, always-on, automated messaging program that drives acquisition, engagement and retention across EA’s portfolio of games and destinations. This role will primarily drive projects to improve the efficiency at which content creation teams work to deliver content across our player journeys.

One of the Dynamic Messaging team’s key principles is to deliver world-class content experiences for EA players. The Network Operations Analyst will help identify critical workflow enhancements impacting the people and processes responsible for delivery of dynamic content to our players, and lead the change management of these workflows across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.

 

About the Team

The Dynamic Messaging team’s primary goal is to motivate players to engage with EA games by delivering content against key moments in the player’s journey. The team focuses on leveraging behavioral and transactional data, as well as automation tools to deliver personalized messages, at scale. The team strategically delivers enterprise-wide solutions that allow for cross-channel marketing automation and power new digital business models.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (content planning, content operations, content programming, and design) to develop and deliver workflow enhancements
  • Develop process feedback loops which inform workflow sustainability
  • Assist with workflow standardization, SWOT analysis, and enhancement initiatives
  • Develop an understanding of our player segmentation approach and provide tagging and taxonomy recommendations to content operations team
  • Workflow impact analysis and optimization
  • Process and resource auditing
  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to clearly articulate and document
  • Assist with QA of content (and other materials), moving through the team

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate student currently enrolled in a business administration or operations-focused program
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM, marketing data, and marketing technology, a plus
  • Operationally minded and efficiency focused
  • High level proficiency in data analysis and critical thinking
  • Comfortable with data and analysis
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-oriented environment

Success Measurement 

  • Completion of multiple documented workflow enhancements and updated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) at time of intern completion.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams to reach joint goals.
