The Software Quality Developer provides engineering, architecture & quality guidance to engineers, artists, leaders and creators at EA while supporting the quality verification team as a whole to build robust tools that ensure we deliver leading games and services our players around the world.

The Software Quality Developer needs a strong ability to lead, plan, implement, deploy, manage operations, and have an advanced technical knowledge and experience in C#, JavaScript, web development, test automation.

In this role, you will plan, build and release world-class tools, collaborate with a global team driving innovation around quality testing and automation and be a solid “bridge-builder”, strengthening relationships with Quality Engineer developers and stakeholders around the world relying on your tools and skills that help make our games and products great.

Does this Describe You?

  • 6+ years professional experience in a similar role.
  • 6+ years of technical industry experience working on tools, test automation and development process improvements
  • Experience working with a global team of engineers in a lead developer capacity throughout a full development cycle.
  • Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide consultation, collect requirements, create a plan, architect a solution, and ensuring benefit realization.
  • Proven professional excellence in  web application development experience using JavaScript and frameworks such as: AngularJS, Angular 2+, React, and Vue.
  • Proven professional excellence in using C# to develop and design RESTful services, development experience using SOA concepts, microservice architecture, .NET Core, WCF, SQL Server, and ElasticSearch.
  • Professional experience using C/C++ is nice to have.
  • Knowledge of software lifecycle, modern testing methods and solid understanding of continuous integration
  • Experience working with User Experience, Usability and Interaction Design is an asset.
  • Experience of shipping games is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software engineering or equivalent
