ROLE OVERVIEW

CoreQV is a provider of quality verification services within EA; partnering with development, production and other quality teams we develop technology and test strategies which help validate that our published products meet or exceed EA’s quality goals.

 

An Operations Analyst helps define and shepherd administrative processes in their portfolio of responsibilities, facilitating the consistent deployment of testing staff, physical inventory and business intelligence to project teams. Partnering with leadership overseeing individual QV teams, the Operations Analyst ensures ready access to the talent, tools and technology required for CoreQV to deliver while proactively identifying opportunities to reduce waste and drive efficiency and consistency.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Conduct training of new hires

• • Work with Central Training team to continuously improve, update and maintain training contents and the current processes

• Work with TA for recruiting and hiring efforts for the locations.
• Document and collate staffing demand information and hiring requirements for their assigned portfolio of teams.
• Coordinate with studio level project management to ensure timely and accurate data submission into CRAFT tool for actuals monthly and forecast submissions
• Work with key outsourcing partners and HR to review contract extensions of temp staff and assist with leavers.
• Author workflow documentation for better practices within CoreQV.
• Meet daily with other Operations staff to review and prioritize on-going work
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions focused on defining new tools and processes 
• Liaise with local partners to coordinate asset management.
• Support day-to-day operations of their Operations portfolio; be aware of assigned tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Unify Sustainment – work with key process partners to assist with unify sustainment.
• Conduct interviews with peers and leaders across CoreQV to document business requirements and collect feedback on existing processes and services. (
• Collaborate closely with peers at other QV centres on the development of shared tools, processes, policies and service provision.

 

BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent knowledge of standard office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, able to influence others within area of expertise; must be fluent in English.
• Relevant experience in training and standard QA testing practices, understanding full SDLC and bug workflows
• Strong communication, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude under pressure, operating with a high degree of integrity
