This UR Business Partner role is a tremendous opportunity to make a huge impact!  As a leader in the global university relations team, you will be a constant champion of intern/co-op and new grad talent, responsible for partnering with client groups on headcount and strategy as well as UR colleagues to assure that EA is an employer-of-choice from on-campus introduction to offer and all the way to onboarding. URBPs develop strong partnerships with Business Unit leadership including C level executives, human resources, and line managers to create the ideal environment that supports a world class intern and new grad recruiting and career development program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers, C level executives, and human resources business partners, raising global awareness of university relations programs and goals.
  • Develop and deliver annual new grad and intern/co-op hiring strategies for client business groups that align with overall talent map.  You must know your client groups inside and out to determine where top campus talent will make the greatest impact.
  • Work with BU leaders and HR to align UR hiring to their overall headcount planning.
  • Master hiring analytics to craft data and reports to tell the UR story.
  • Create and maintain efficient processes and regular reporting, while tailoring communication per client needs. Our clients speak the language of Data and you must too!
  • Drive increasing engagement of UR program from global partners company-wide.  We are just scratching the surface of where the University Program can go.  Help us take it to the next level.
  • Define and communicate hiring and selection processes for aligned business groups including offer details and compensation.
  • Assist hiring teams in delivering best in class new grad and intern/co-op student experience. This includes coaching teams on objective setting, performance reviews, and appropriate work. You have the opportunity to empower our managers to be amazing coaches and mentors.
  • Responsible for mitigating and resolving any HR related concerns from hiring teams or managers as it pertains to UR hires, in collaboration with HR.
  • Support overall growth and development of University Relations team members and collaborate on special projects.  As a member of the UR leadership team, you are expected to support your teammates and help them develop.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for aligned client groups to university relations peers, communicating hiring plans, and business and staffing changes.  
  • Influence scalability and efficiency in business processes and engagement to enhance university relations organizational effectiveness.
  • Collect and analyze market trends and competitive intelligence.  It’s up to us to know what is happening on campus and to ensure we are ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on ways UR can supplement just in time hiring. Champion year-round new grad hiring for appropriate roles.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6-8 years general HR or Recruiting experience with 2+ years of previous University Relations, Recruiting, or Human Resources Business Partnering combined experience preferred
  • Strong consulting and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, own and drive programs/processes, making independent judgements and decisions with little to no supervision
  • Comfortable with workforce analytics, data and reporting, and workforce planning
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • High level of energy, initiative and enthusiasm
  • Results-oriented
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and people and program management skills
  • Demonstrated change management skills, i.e., comfortable with constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on commitments
  • Direct experience working in the high-technology software or entertainment industry is desirable
