Role Overview

I. Basic Function

The Treasury department plays a central role in the finances of EA. The team is responsible for global cash forecasting, liquidity management, investment management, foreign exchange and insurance risk management, and corporate finance.

The Corporate Treasury internship is a 12-week program that provides exposure to many of the critical aspects of the Treasury function at a successful, global company. In addition, the Treasury internship is part of EA’s broader summer intern program, which includes orientation and various social and professional events. The program will culminate with a final presentation delivered to team leaders based on your experience.

  1. Responsibilities

 

The Treasury Intern will support the Treasury team in a wide range of Corporate Treasury and Risk Management activities including the following:

 

  • Global Cash Management
    • Daily cash positioning and monitoring of global cash balances to fund capital and operating needs
    • Bank infrastructure, account administration and signatory management
  • Investment Management
    • Evaluation of external investment portfolio manager performance and compliance
  • Risk Management (Insurance)
    • Support of business insurance requirements, including COI issuance and claims management
  • Management Reporting
    • Monthly Treasury reporting package and support
    • Cash forecasting and reporting

 

III. Technical Skills and Requirements

  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math or Accounting with a current minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Excellent Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent teamwork & communication skills & organizing abilities
  • Ability to operate independently, anticipate requirements and monitor workload
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Desire to build a career in Corporate Treasury
