The Challenge Ahead:

 

We are building EA’s Cloud Gaming system to run at scale. It is not only about delivery of games from the Cloud but also about bringing a comprehensive gaming to our users. Play the games, on any device, connected with your friends, with a unified experience. You’ll be part of a team that bridge cross-EA services, build the infrastructure tools, and bring a unified user experience.

 

What a Software Engineer III does within EADP Cloud Gaming Division at EA:

 

As a Software Engineer III, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop features while taking into considerations aspects of performance and scale. You will have interaction with remote teams for cross-integration and ensuring dependencies are addressed. The feature and system capabilities you’ll develop will have an impact on the way the system is built and the user experience. The system areas will include both front-end and backend services.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Design and develop features aligned with the product roadmap
• Develop UX oriented features addressing with efficiency, responsiveness, and user friendliness
• Resolve defects during QA cycle, and from live environments
• Migrate legacy components to new technologies
• Work with remote teams in different timezones

 

Required Skills / experience

 

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering
• Over 6 years' experience as a software developer with the following expertise
• C#

• • Multithreaded systems
  • Performance and tuning
  • Unity 3D
  • Networking protocols

• Other skills

• • Good architectural view
  • Ability to find structure in a complex system
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Ability to fluently communicate with remote teams
