EA Seattle is looking for a UI Artist to join our successful and talented team.

What You’ll Do

  • Create dynamic, reactive, and appealing UI for mobile games
  • Create, edit, and optimize high quality UI art assets and animations
  • Develop visual systems that achieve goals from both game design and UX perspectives
  • Iterate on user interface assets according to reviews, changing requirements, and user research
  • Implement UI layouts, elements and animations
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to execute on product vision within any established project constraints
  • Drive direction of user interaction design choices
  • Maintain awareness of new tools, techniques and technology in UI development, sharing your findings with your team and discipline

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong graphic design and illustration skills
  • Very strong Adobe lllustrator and Photoshop skills
  • Technical/hands-on experience building interfaces with Unity’s UI authoring tools
  • Ability to create pre-visualization videos or animatics to convey visual targets for complex animated sequences within a mobile game
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with art, design, engineering, and production disciplines
  • Ability to work within a style guide for a major IP to suit the needs of a mobile game experience
  • A passion for playing and making awesome games!
