The Dynamic Messaging team’s primary goal is to motivate players to engage with EA games by delivering content against key moments in the player’s journey. The team focuses on leveraging behavioral and transactional data, as well as automation tools to deliver personalized messages, at scale.  The team strategically delivers enterprise-wide solutions that allow for cross-channel messaging automation and powers new digital business models.

Job Description

This individual will be part of EA’s Dynamic Messaging team, focusing on enabling a centralized, always-on, automated messaging program that drives acquisition, engagement and retention across EA’s portfolio of games and other in-network player destinations. The Live Service Producer will be a central point of contact between game studios, content production, strategy and technology teams to ensure unification of inputs, processes and outputs of live service messaging. While scope covers many cross-team disciplines, the focus will be on data and technology.

The ideal candidate will support a fast-paced team, focused on leading the production and coordination of Live Service capabilities and content for a dynamic environment of always-on content across multiple channels. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys video games and is looking to master the intricacies of data-driven experiences. Candidate will be joining a vibrant team who care deeply about EA gamers and their gaming experiences.

This role will be based at EA’s global headquarters located in Redwood Shores, California.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive implementation of Data, Systems Integrations, and Content frameworks with key stakeholders, including business strategists, data engineers, and developers.
  • Actively engage and work closely with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective end-to-end execution of player messaging
  • Manage content requests from multiple game studio teams.
  • Document processes and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Maintain awareness of marketing, journey and messaging optimization/automation trends, best practices, technologies.
  • Implement and ensure standardization of process across multi-functional teams with competing priorities.
  • Setting and meeting performance targets for speed, efficiency, and quality

 

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in email, lifecycle or digital marketing and technical product management.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Product management-level understanding of web services, online technologies, and database design.
  • Passionate about the growth and success of internal customers, with proven track record of delivering technology products/services in high growth environment where priorities shift quickly.
  • Strong leader that can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understands how to drive focus and excellence across teams.
  • Excellent time and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Flexibility to deal with changes and multitasking.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills with proven ability in identifying problems, recommending solutions, and improving processes.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Works well in a collaborative, team environment and cross-functional team.
  • Highly organized, proactive, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.
  • Solid email best practice knowledge.
  • Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills. Familiarity with Google Drive, Confluence, Quip, JIRA, BOX and Percolate a plus.
