CDS Senior Business Analyst – 12 month Contract Position – Vancouver

Central Development Services (CDS) team in EA works directly with all game teams, and everything we do is in support of providing fast, actionable feedback on the quality of the product during the development cycle through our Quality Verification group, as well as ensuring our titles reach different regions in the world through our Localization group. We are a distributed, cross-functional team, full of some very creative people, working with cutting-edge technologies, and an environment that fosters creative solutions in support of game development.

As a key member of the Analytics Team within CDS you will:  

  • Organize and lead requirements gathering sessions to capture business processes, user workflows, user stories, data models and current state scenarios from a variety of internal partners
  • Decompose high-level business and user requirements into well-written and clear documentation and cohesive presentations
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop recommendations on effective solutions to the stated needs, and participate in all aspects of the new improved process or new system rollout activities.
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across EA: development teams, technology teams, business teams, advertising and marketing teams, QA teams, etc.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with key studio contacts at multiple levels throughout EA worldwide
  • Manage expectations and risks throughout a project life cycle
  • Monitor and maintain projects after initial release; prioritize defects, measure and support client service impact, measure and track performance metrics and help define enhancement opportunities
  • Prioritize workload and multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced, constantly-evolving environment while keeping a positive attitude

Who You are:

  • Result-oriented individual with 4-6 years of practical experience performing all aspects of business analysis
  • Effective facilitator and can read between the lines
  • Have exceptional organizational, analytical, written, verbal and communication skills
  • Networking and relationship building is your natural way of working
  • Highly motivated when problem solving and thinking creatively
  • Have a progressive track record of completing projects and producing results
  • Comfortable working in an international team, and are flexible with different time zones
  • Understand Agile software development methodology and main data processing principles
