This person uses their statistics and analytics knowledge to inform operational models by developing forecasts for different contact types, languages, and regions. They work across departments and partners in our global organization to understand and incorporate product and business initiatives in their analysis.

This role is part of EA’s Customer Experience organization. The Customer Experience organization strives to make EA known for taking care of its players. We’re players taking care of players and people talking to people – whenever, wherever, and however they need us.

A Workforce Management Demand Planning Specialist has to have a passion for operations and data. They should be able to find opportunities that let us scale and optimize, and they can tell stories through forecast models that come from various data points.

So how do Workforce Management Demand Planning Specialists make great experiences for players? They:

  • Develop and utilize the understanding of EA’s operational metrics and community experience goals
  • Use knowledge of EA’s sales and player engagement strategies to create accurate projections
  • Analyze trends to provide input on improving metrics including service levels, adherence, forecast vs. actual variances, review times, and occupancy
  • Develop, administer, and maintain forecasts and capacity plans
  • Ensure the reliability and quality of underlying data, and review the accuracy of reports and data sources
  • Create and maintain strong service partner relationships through forecasts that protect our business.

If you’re interested in this role, you’ll need these skills or experiences:

  • BA/BS degree in economics, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • +3 years of demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management experience with a proven track record for accuracy and analytic skills.
  • +2 years of Workforce Management experience in a diverse, multi-channel support environment. Retail, technology, or BPO environments are preferred.
  • Strong experience with Excel, SQL, and/or other modeling platforms with a specific focus on developing forecasts and projections.
  • Can share knowledge in Workforce Management solutions and the process governance to guide operations.
