Position Title: Senior FP&A Partner

External Description:

The Corporate Strategy team works closely with EA’s executive leadership team in shaping strategies to drive growth and innovation across the company as well as stay ahead of tech and games industry trends. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively evaluate key consumer, technology, and market changes to identify emerging trends and keep EA on the cutting edge of the entertainment industry
  • Partner with senior leaders around the world to develop strategic plans and drive transformational projects
  • Collaborate closely with game development studios to evaluate new genres, innovative features changing gameplay dynamics, and new approaches to game development.
  • Explore competitive and industry dynamics across PC, mobile, and console and apply frameworks to advance EA’s relative position in the marketplace
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of EA’s products and services and performance in the market
  • Lead small cross-functional teams to drive projects that impact any part of the business (e.g. studio, technology, publishing, marketing)
  • Manage large scale strategic projects; maintain responsibility for deliverables, project progress, and management of stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Conduct strategic analysis using a hypothesis-driven approach and synthesize conclusions to be presented to internal leaders
  • Contribute to EA thought leadership pieces on trends affecting the video game industry, consumer behaviors and digital transformation affecting our industry

 Skills / Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience, with experience at a top tier consulting firm or similar strategy role within the digital entertainment industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Knowledge and ability to apply standard business frameworks (e.g. SWOT, value chain, competitive forces, core competency analysis)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint or similar presentation software used for storytelling strategic opportunities or market analysis
  • Strong proficiency in business writing and verbal communications.
  • Strong presentation skills; confidence and poise in delivering to senior management
  • Baseline knowledge of the games industry and the key players
  • MBA preferred, but not required
