We are seeking someone with the right mix of creativity, quantitative and leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment for an opportunity within one of the world’s leading in-house media practices. Within the Portfolio Management team, we are responsible for ensuring media support to the right player, at the right time, and through the appropriate channel across the full EA portfolio.

 

In this role, the Global Media Portfolio Lead – Live Services is responsible for working closely with senior leaders to shape our global advertising media campaigns for live service franchises, inclusive of select console, PC, and mobile titles. The successful candidate will partner with EA’s internal media Strategy and Planning & Activation teams across both Brand and Performance media to balance immediate and long-term growth, highlight investment risks and opportunities, and ensure best-in-class media support across the portfolio.

 

What a Global Media Portfolio Lead – Live Services does at EA:

  • Be a highly visible thought leader in EA’s NA Headquarters that inspires, educates, guides, and brings media expertise to senior title stakeholders across EA
  • Provides media leadership; advises central groups of select franchises on media’s approach to brand and performance-based campaigns, how we strategically invest in both to drive effective, efficient, and personalized advertising opportunities, and the best route to maximizing returns on those investments
  • Manages select senior relationships by providing campaign expertise, transparency into best practices and performance, and identifying risks and opportunities across the portfolio
  • Works with media Strategy leads to ensure long-term title alignment, internal and external Planning & Activation teams to maintain a pulse on market best practices, and with other Portfolio Leads to increase consistency and knowledge sharing across the portfolio
  • Collaborates with international Portfolio Leads to provide the campaign and product expertise needed to guide the creation of regional media plans and tactics that align to global directives
  • Leads and manages a team of Global Portfolio Managers and global budgets to effectively implement top tier media campaigns while balancing needed support across the portfolio to drive short and long-term business objectives

 

What a great Global Media Portfolio Lead – Live Services needs:

  • 2+ years relevant marketing experience; driving media campaigns for top tier console, PC, and mobile games and brands in highly competitive landscapes
  • Deep understanding of brand and performance marketing and best practices; 3+ years’ practice with all platforms in the global media landscape and their capabilities, such as TV, OOH, social, search, programmatic, ad networks
  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations and cross-functional relationships by providing educated and clear answers in ambiguous situations with sometimes conflicting perspectives and goals, bringing them into harmony, and finding mutually beneficial resolutions
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to quickly adapt thinking and communication while maintaining a position as needed in a challenging fast-paced environment
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, managing high-performing individuals to develop future business thought leaders
  • Practice in converting complex data driven results into strategic insights, learnings, and presentations for senior leadership
  • View challenges as opportunities, solution oriented, and a creative problem solver founded on strong communication skills with quantitative and qualitative insights
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Economics is preferred
