Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:

The Senior Treasury Analyst, FX will be focused on working cross-functionally with EA’s global finance team to identify FX exposures, execute and support EA’s FX hedging program. We’re looking for a self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support the global foreign exchange hedging program including the identification and consolidation of FX exposures, execution of FX trades, and reporting of hedging activity 
  • Collaborate with financial institutions, Regional Controllership, Tax and Accounting to resolve FX issues, build strong partnerships and develop best practices
  • Assist in preparation of FX performance measurement packages and key analytics for monthly close process as well as FX-Investment Committee and CFO Close on a quarterly basis. Prepare Treasury related 10K and 10Q footnotes
  • Assist in the forecasting and reporting of monthly Other Income & Expense comparative analysis
  • Support FX front office processes including loading FX trades and rates, maintaining settlement instructions and updating FX mandates with counterparty banks
  • Assist with implementation of a Foreign Exchange exposure management tool
  • Assist with short and long term intercompany settlements and transactions
  • Prepare documentation and ensure ongoing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 for FX function. Assist internal and external auditor walkthroughs and audit reviews
  • Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of effective FX strategies that are in compliance with FASB 52, FASB 133 and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements
  • Provide Treasury systems administrative support
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and provide project support as needed

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Experience in a multinational corporation with 3-5 years of relevant Treasury experience
  • Treasury Software experience in Kyriba, FXall, Citidirect, Capella and Bloomberg
  • Working knowledge of Oracle R12, Essbase and Hyperion Enterprise
  • Candidate should be detailed oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen, ability to multi-task well and strong organizational skills a must
  • Highly analytical and technical skills (including experience with FX derivative instruments, accounting standards, compliance requirements and systems expertise)
  • Must be a team player and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external partners
  • Ability to apply finance and treasury principles and policies to day-to-day responsibilities
  • Familiarity with financial markets and bank platforms
