業務内容

・QA、デザイナー、開発担当とともに、機能への理解と分析、レポートの作成や分析を通して改善点やスコープを見つけ出す

・開発チームのパートナーとして、ゲーム開発サイクルを通じてゲームクオリティープランの実行と高い品質を目指す

・機能に対する量と質について、信頼できるデータに基づいた問題点や改善点についてフィードバックを提供する

・欠陥の予防を目指し、早いステージでのフィードバックの機会を見つける

・様々な機能について多様なテストタイプを実行する(探索的テスト、要件ベースのテスト、およびアドホックテストと回帰テスト
・キーエリアを判断し、オートメーションを実行する

・エラーに関する情報共有とトラッキング

・すべてのステークホルダーへ詳細なインサイトを提供するためにエラー調査の実施

・機能やシステムについて起こり得るリスクについて分析、レポートし、必要に応じて報告する

・開発やプロダクションのキーステークホルダーと日々協力する

・問題点に気づき、バグデータベースで優先順位をつけて、バグ修正を早める

・QAプロセスの有効性と効率性についてフィードバックを提供する

・プロジェクトにおいてクオリティーに関する声となる

 

必要スキル・経験

・開発にかかわるQA業務経験5年以上

・セルフスターター。成功に向けての意欲

・テクニカルライティングについてのコンセプトへの理解

・タスクのアサインメントについてオーナーシップを持ち、自発的に責任を持って行動できる

・アナリティカル、結果指向:分析やレポートを使ってアイデアを提案したりプレゼンしたりできる

・開発過程におけるQAの必要性を理解し、率いる

・様々な手段でのプロアクティブなコミュニケーションができる

・ソフトウェア開発サイクル、プラクティス、ソフトウェアエンジニアリング、またそれらの開発とQAにおける役割についての理解

・CI環境、テスト自動化(C#)、ホワイトボックステスティングの経験や理解

We are looking for a senior QA analyst for Japan studio. In this role you will have solid experience of driving qualities with in-depth understanding of software design, implementation and integration and you will identify quality issues and drive improvement. Also this role requires strong test strategies and experience which challenge the software to ensure a very high level of quality.

 

Role Overview

·       Work with Game designers, Engineers and DM to identify areas/scope of improvement through feature understanding and analyzing, to ensure to meet highest quality

·       Partner with QAPM and development team to execute a game quality plan throughout the game development cycle (both development & operation phase)

·       Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on features with issues to improve in-game features by solid data analysis

·       Identify & implement key areas to automate

·       Analyze and report potential risks of features and systems and escalate as appropriate

·       Identify the test scope and communicate/drive QA team, influence/drive improvements as required

·       Able to recognize and prioritize issues in the bug database to expedite bug-fixing efforts

·       Collaborate daily with key stakeholders of Production and Development, and drive activities such as Bug triage, Optimizing tools, etc

·       Identify opportunities for QA to provide early design feedback alongside defect prevention and defect containment activities

·       Provide feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency of QA processes

·       Standardize QA activities and processes by collaborating with WWQA teams as required

·       Be the voice of quality

 

Qualifications

·       5+ years of professional working experience in a production or quality-driven role

·       Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and features and meet responsibilities without constant supervision

·       Analytical and results-oriented, able to communicate ideas in the form of comprehensive reports, analysis and presentations

·       Self-starter, proactive and energetic with a strong work ethic and a success-based attitude

·       Experience/Understanding with CI environment, Test Automation(C#, SQL) and white box testing

·       Understanding of software development life cycle, practices and software engineering methodologies and their application to both development and QA

·       Understanding QAs involvement throughout the development cycle and drive/influence changes actively

·       Ability to identify risks and escalate to applicable stakeholders as required

·       Excellent written and verbal communication

·       Experience working with international teams

·       Research of defects to provide detailed insight to all stakeholders
