We provide the best possible audio experience for our fans as they play our games.  An Audio Software Engineer Intern will form a vital part of our team, helping to deliver the high quality our players expect and creating innovative new technology for them to enjoy.

What does an Audio Software Engineer Intern do at EA?

• Works closely with the Audio Designers and Audio Software Engineers to translate high-level ideas into AAA game features
• Keeps iterating with their team until the feature is incredible
• Collaborates with game designers and content editors to ensure that Audio forms an integral part of the gameplay experience
• Understand the performance impact of their code
• Design and build new algorithms for digital signal processing

What skills do you need?

Essential:

• A passion for games, and a desire to create high-quality AAA titles that millions of people want to play
• Undergraduate, studying for a degree in a relevant discipline
• Understanding of C++ programming
• Knowledge of audio and acoustic concepts

Nice to have:

• Experience with digital audio signals
• Experience using a modern game engine (e.g. Unreal or Unity)
