Le studio Motive est à la recherche d'un développeur jouabilité pour se greffer à sa toute nouvelle équipe! Membre de l'équipe technique de jouabilité du studio, le candidat retenu collaborera avec les ingénieurs, concepteurs et artistes pour élaborer la jouabilité de notre prochain titre AAA.

Rôle du développeur jouabilité chez Motive :

  • Concevoir, créer, maintenir et restructurer des systèmes de jeu qui satisfont à toutes les exigences en matière de conception, d’éléments techniques et d'échéance
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l'AQ et le leadership technique pour assurer la stabilité et l'exactitude des systèmes de jeu en identifiant, en communiquant et en résolvant les défauts
  • Collaborer avec les concepteurs et les créateurs de contenu pour explorer des solutions qui favorisent l'avancement de la vision artistique et de conception du jeu
  • Mettre en œuvre des systèmes de jeu complexes par la consultation et la coordination avec les ingénieurs logiciels, les concepteurs de jeu, les artistes visuels et les ingénieurs audio
  • Mener les révisions de code et de conception et y participer
  • Enquêter et adopter une nouvelle gamme de technologies de jeu, de pratiques, d'outils et de systèmes

Exigences :

  • Baccalauréat (ou diplôme supérieur) en informatique ou l'équivalent
  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle C/C++
  • Un titre à son actif à travailler sur les 3C (Caractère, Caméra, Controlleur)
  • Solide connaissance en animation
  • Solide connaissance des mathématiques 3D
  • Expérience dans l’industrie du jeu avec au moins 1 titre AAA à son actif
  • Normes élevées de travail et désir d'atteindre et de dépasser les attentes
  • Fortes compétences de travail d'équipe, avec capacité de prendre le travail en main et de travailler de manière indépendante
  • Passion pour offrir des jeux agréables et attrayants

Gameplay Developer

Motive Studios is seeking a Gameplay Developer will be joining our newly formed team. As a member of our studio's Gameplay Engineering team you will work closely with engineers, designers and artists to develop game-play for our next AAA title.

What the Gameplay Developer will do at Motive:

  • Design, author, maintain, and refactor game systems that meet all design, technical, and schedule requirements
  • Work closely with QA and technical leadership to ensure the stability and accuracy of game systems by identifying, communicating, and resolving defects
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to brainstorm solutions that further the game’s artistic and design vision
  • complex gameplay systems through consultation and coordination with other software engineers, game designers, visual artists, and audio engineers
  • Lead and participate in design and code reviews
  • Investigate and adopt new game technologies, practices, tools, and systems

Who You Are:

  • B.S. (or higher) degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of professional C/C++ experience
  • Shipped title working on 3C (Character, Camera, Controller)
  • Strong knowledge of animation
  • Strong knowledge of 3D math
  • Experience developing complex gameplay systems for published PC or current gen console games with at least one shipped title
  • High standards of work and desire to meet and exceed expectations
  • Strong teamwork skills but also the ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Passion for making games look and play great
