Responsabilités :

 

  • Transmettre la vision de la direction créative de l’équipe avec confiance au reste de l’équipe
  • Élaborer la vision du contenu pour d’importantes sections de contenu de jeu qui appuient la direction créative
  • Diriger les groupes de développeurs dans le cadre des discussions sur les fonctionnalités afin d’établir un consensus
  • Planifier les écosystèmes et les boucles de conception qui offrent des expériences de jeu cohésives
  • Transmettre la conception à l’aide de divers moyens, y compris une documentation et des présentations complètes et faciles à comprendre destinées à l’équipe, ainsi qu’une collaboration directe avec d’autres développeurs
  • Offrir de la rétroaction constructive et pertinente aux autres concepteurs à propos de leurs travaux
  • Concevoir et créer des systèmes de jeu ayant des impacts considérables sur l’expérience de jeu
  • Relever et expliquer aux autres membres de l’équipe et aux partenaires externes les systèmes interconnectés et leur rôle dans le soutien des piliers de jeu
  • Planifier les idées à transformer en prototype, et pourquoi, à la lumière du contexte de la fonctionnalité, du jeu et du marché
  • Établir des objectifs précis pour le prototypage, en mesurant la performance du prototype par rapport à ces objectifs et en s’assurant que les leçons tirées des prototypes sont transférées à la production du jeu
  • Créer des plans de test de jeu pour les fonctionnalités et leurs domaines de responsabilité, évaluer la rétroaction et relever les tendances au niveau des données qui suggèrent les actions que l’équipe doit entreprendre
  • Collaborer avec AQ pour développer des plans de test destinés aux fonctionnalités
  • Équilibrer et mettre au point les systèmes de jeu en fonction du plaisir et de l’engagement
  • Utiliser la connaissance de l’industrie des jeux, des tendances et des comportements de joueurs pour évaluer, proposer et critiquer les fonctionnalités

 

 Compétences :

 

  • Au moins 8 à 10 ans d’expérience à titre de concepteur, idéalement dans un environnement AAA
  • Compétences de communication orale et écrite bien développées – pour assurer la compréhension claire de la conception par une équipe diversifiée à toutes les étapes du développement
  • Excellentes compétences de travail d’équipe

Senior Designer Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying the vision of the creative leadership of the team with confidence with the rest of the team
  • Developing content vision for large sections of game content that supports the creative direction
  • Leading groups of developers through feature discussions to develop consensus
  • Planning out design ecosystems / loops that provide cohesive gameplay experiences
  • Conveying design through multiple means, including comprehensive, easy to understand documentation, presentations to the team, and direct collaboration with other developers
  • Providing relevant, constructive feedback to other designers regarding their designs
  • Concepting and creating game wide systems with major impacts on the player experience
  • Identifying and explaining interconnected systems and how they support the game’s pillars to other team members and external partners
  • Planning what to prototype, and why, informed by the context of the feature, game and market
  • Setting clear goals for prototyping, measuring the prototype performance against those goals, and ensuring the learnings from the prototypes are carried through to the game’s production
  • Creating playtest plans for features and their areas of ownership, evaluates the feedback and identifies patterns or trends in the data that suggest actions the team could take
  • Working with QA to develop test plans for features
  • Balancing and tuning their game systems for fun and engagement
  • Utilizing knowledge of the games industry, trends and player behaviours for evaluating, proposing and critiquing features

 

 Competencies:

 

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a designer, ideally in a AAA environment
  • Well developed verbal and written communication skills - to ensure a diverse team’s clear understanding of the design at all stages of development
  • Excellent team work skills
