Role summary: 

The Central Development Services (CDS) organization at Electronic Arts seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst with strong analytical skills and experience for a temporary position. The Analytics Engineering team creates tools, methodologies, and services to provide self-service business intelligence to assist in the testing of our great games catalog.

As a Senior QA Analyst you will be creating and executing on test plans to verify the quality of implemented engineering features. You will coordinate with engineers to determine the aspects of a feature that needs to be tested, manage the test process, and communicate the results to key stakeholders.  You will work with other Analysts to help find and solve technical problems and recommend appropriate quality assurance procedures.

 

Responsibilities: 

Main area of responsibility for this role will be working with our engineering teams to verify feature quality. Duties will include:

* Design and review quality strategies for different features
* Schedule and execute data validation strategies
* Contribute to the development and follow-up of test plans and materials
* Develop, perform, and document test procedures to verify problem fixes
* Escalate critical issues to team
* Directly responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures
* Reporting and tracking for data quality

 
Qualifications: 
* 2+ years experience in the software QA industry
* Demonstrated PC hardware/software/peripheral knowledge.
* Extensive SQL experience. Ability to create complex queries.
* Technical aptitude to learn internal, proprietary tools.  
* Standard QA Analyst skill set required.
* Experience in analytics or business intelligence a plus
