As the Madden Live Operations Producer, you will be responsible for fostering a high functioning live team and delivery framework focused on cultivating a world class online player experience.  You will work with development and a variety of other partner teams to orchestrate the routine delivery of high quality, secure features, functionality, and content to engage Madden Players year-round.  Successful candidates are leaders with a strong mix of production and delivery skills with a variety of technologies in the console, eSports, and live services gaming space.

 

Role Overview

• Drive the completion of operational goals and facilitate communication, organization, process, and accountability
• Work with team leadership to establish a high functioning live operations framework
• Partner with development and shared services groups to establish a roadmap for live content delivery
• Work with QA to establish proper testing protocols for Title update delivery. 
• Identify and communicate any roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving their goals.
• Motivate and support team to ensure project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
• Provide regular project status reporting on deliveries, identifying any potential risks with proposed solutions, and communicate this clearly on a routine basis to team and project stakeholders.
• Build and maintain schedules to ensure successful and timely delivery of games, features and launches.
• Own Title update planning, schedules, and overall prioritization and delivery framework.
• Work with team leaders and discipline leads to evaluate directional changes, analyze the costs/benefits and impact on title update schedules and outline an appropriate for path live operations
• Champion player experience and quality.
• Serve as an advocate and expert for Madden Security, champion security best practices, processes and features in the vein of maintaining world a class player experience.
• Continually work to build a keen understanding of Madden player sentiment and trends
• Expertly leverage information to provide insight and guidance for all Live deliverables to deliver the best player experience.

 

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Production or related field
• 5+ years experience in a live operations production role.
• Shipped multiple AAA titles in a Live operations production role
• Experience orchestrating work across multiple disciplines and partner groups
• Demonstrated ability coalescing a wide variety of diverse business needs and player expectations into an actionable roadmap that continually improves key Live KPIs and player experience.
• Ability to acclimate quickly to a fast paced development cycle
• Identify opportunities, provide analytical decision making and demonstrate effective problem solving
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall/SCRUM development methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute delivery plan reliability and with quality expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Calm and deliberate within a high stress demanding environment.Able to identify/assess risks and strategies to mitigate and escalate as necessary.Knowledge of anti-tamper, anti-cheating, and anti-piracy technologies is a plus.
