Capital Games is best known for the break-out mobile hit Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes which has been the #1 Grossing game in over 35 countries and is one of the Top 40 Grossing Games in the entire world across Apple and Google for the last year. The game also consistently maintains a 4.5-star rating and is played over two hours a day on average by players. Galaxy of Heroes is, by far, the most successful Star Wars mobile game that has ever existed.
Leveraging the momentum of this success, we are working on our next game and need a passionate, talented, experienced Sr. Game Designer with a proven track record of leading teams to global success in the highly competitive, free-to-play mobile market.
Responsibilities
- Concept, document, and implement various content—including Ships, Characters, Events, Raids, and other PvE content
- Adapt to various content requests—you will be working on a variety of content as the content plan demands
- Work with a team of Designers to provide feedback and guidance for all Live content
- Work with Analytics and PM to understand our core player, their engagement with content, and their play behaviors
- Run internal playtests and adapt your content according to feedback
- Develop and maintain Style Guides for content implementation by other Designers
- 4+ years of game design experience (mobile CCG/Strategy/RPG highly preferred)
- At least 1 shipped title as a Content Designer
- An aspiring grammarian (excellent command of written and spoken English)
- Experience in a Live Environment preferred
