BioWare is looking for a Live Producer who will be responsible for overseeing efforts that ultimately lead to the successful launch and on-going maintenance of new and existing online multiplayer games.  In this role, you will work closely with BioWare teams to flawlessly launch or update Live Games while engaging all EA Launch Readiness teams.  You will be held accountable for identifying risks, challenges, and recommending mitigation strategies to deliver a high-quality Live title.

What the Live Producer, Live Operations Team will do at BioWare:

 

  • Work closely with Game Development and QA teams to define comprehensive pre-launch test plans and manage post-launch public testing opportunities.
  • Raise awareness of issues to help remove roadblocks, ensure all assigned tasks are updated, delivered on-time, and with excellent quality. Combat inertia and act as a force to keep moving things forward.
  • Work closely with all Launch Readiness Teams to ensure BioWare delivers a flawless game launch.
  • Establish robust testing ecosystem to prove readiness against the most exhaustive operational standards across all phases before game release.
  • Deliver regular launch status updates for inclusion in Product Readiness reports.
  • Provide leadership and act as a vocal ambassador on in-game trends and represent the voice of our players in feature development.
  • Work with the community team, quality assurance and internal development to create comprehensive patch notes and other publish-related communications.
  • Positively represent Live Operations in all meetings, events, and interactions with team, and other groups. Be a consistent champion and expert of the assigned game titles.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Producer or DD and have shipped at least 1 AAA title
  • Self-driven with the ability to take projects from kickoff to execution
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills – you must be able to keep focus on multiple tasks and effectively set priorities among projects
  • Proven experience leading, motivating, and driving teams to success
  • Passion for games and improving the overall experience for players
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint
