External Description:

We are looking for a Strategy Intern to join the Competitive Gaming Division. This intern will work on projects that will be used to drive insights across multiple parts of the business, including studio development, sponsorships, broadcast and operations. For the right candidate this will be an incredible opportunity to have a big impact on a strategic priority for the company.  

 Key Responsibilities: 

The strategy intern will lead or work closely on projects that would likely fall into the following categories:

• Competitive Analysis: Dive deeper into the market to track what’s going on in the esports industry outside of EA
• Research: Conduct research and present findings and insights that will inform key decisions
• Data Analysis and Metrics: Organize and display data reports relating to our competitive programs and broadcasts

Preferred skills and experience:

• Attaining an undergrad degree from a strong academic school; Business or Engineering degree preferred
• Presentation Skills: experience in creating and presenting Powerpoints
• Passion for esports and competitive gaming
• Analytical and quantitative: ability to take sets of data and derive insights from that data
• Experience with online research, social media, and analytics platforms
• Creativity and Tenacity: there’s oftentimes no precedent to things that we’re doing and that’s exciting! A successful intern in this role will have the ability to problem solve on the fly and come up with solutions when instructions aren’t always clear.
