We are looking for wildly creative applicants who have a strong passion for games, great social and communication skills, as well as a positive, team player mentality.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and define UX goals for new and evolving features
  • Independently design solutions: concepts, wireframes, and prototypes while iterating based on your research, team feedback, and user feedback.
  • Conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors for diverse environments and audiences
  • Build alignment for your designs with teammates and stakeholders
  • Implement everything from UX/UI prototypes to final content in-engine.
  • Iteratively design and test interfaces and interactions to make them simple and intuitive
  • Document and drive awareness of UX standards, push to improve UX design workflow processes
  • Use objective and subjective data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct heuristic evaluations and work with other stakeholders to address usability issues

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one shipped title as a UI/UX designer; AAA, FPS and live service experience is a plus
  • Editor experience (with engines such as Frostbite or Unreal)
  • Strong proficiency with visual scripting tools and scripting languages
  • Deep knowledge of digital tools for creating UX and IxD deliverables
  • Thorough understanding of how to design and optimize UX/UI systems, features, and player experiences
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, create and implement game concepts using various tools, technology and visual language
  • Ability to work autonomously, think proactively, and be creative and flexible when faced with constraints
  • Strong creative problem solver that challenges the status quo
  • Continuously learning, and seeking opportunities to improve
  • Excellent creative, analytical and organizational skills with proven ability to write, communicate and maintain detailed design documentation throughout project life cycle
  • Passion for games and user-centered design; and a deep understanding of UX trends across multiple genres and platforms

 

Valuable additional skills:

  • A gamer with excellent understanding of how Meta-games are structured and designed
  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design in multiplayer or co-op titles
  • Degree in Interaction Design, Psychology, Human Factors, Industrial Engineering or related HCI discipline
