Sr Experience Designer - Player Network



THE ROLE:

Electronic Arts is seeking a UX Designer to join our Player Network Team. This role will focus on defining and delivering a player’s social experiences across multiple devices as they navigate EA’s player network.

 

A SAMPLE OF WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Joining a cross-functional team responsible for delivering the end-to-end social experience for players across multiple devices.
  • Collaborating with other designers and product managers to create pixel perfect visuals,  prototypes, journey maps, flows, and wireframes to communicate how features should work.
  • Building and maintaining UX guidelines.
  • Working with the usability research team to bring the designs you create into user testing.

 

YOU’RE SKILLED AT:

  • An eye for visual design and the ability to work within brand guidelines.
  • A solid understanding of the product life cycle and building and iterating on products with large and established user bases.
  • Interaction design principles and tools, such as wireframing, journey mapping, flows, etc.
  • Understanding usability and heuristics.
  • Staying up to date with current online product best practices.
  • Collaborating. You have superb communication skills and a way of explaining ideas that get others interested and excited about your work.
  • A basic technical knowledge of what needs to happen to bring your designs to life.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years professional user experience design practice.
  • Fluent knowledge of Sketch, the Adobe Suite and other design and rapid-prototyping tools.

 

     BONUS POINTSs:

  • A passion for video games.
  • Experience designing across mobile, desktop, and TV.
  • Experience with creating design prototypes, preferably using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience and knowledge of best practices as it applies to social networking and communication.
