Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned product leader for our console product team. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating complex relationships with external partners to drive results. In addition, this person should have experience leading cross-functional teams in both a live service and new initiative environment, with an understanding of how to prioritize and make trade-offs between the two. The candidate should be comfortable building lasting relationships with internal partners, including game studios, to communicate status of initiatives and drive adoption of subscription services. Experience building software for game consoles is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently navigate complex relationships with partners in conjunction with business development to communicate priorities and deliver results
  • Lead and develop a team of product managers
  • Prioritize live service investments in conjunction with partners in engineering, marketing, operations, and design to advance learnings and improve business results
  • Lead new product initiatives to deliver console subscriptions on new platforms
  • Build road map of console products, prioritize backlogs, define requirements, write user stories, identify analytics requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive results
  • Collaborate with other product leaders to deliver a world-class, consistent product experience across platforms
  • Develop meaningful business relationships with studio teams and other partners to communicate status and drive adoption
  • Structure and execute experiments, including A/B tests, to test hypotheses and generate impactful insights
  • Navigate complex external partner relationships to deliver results
  • Lead team of product managers:
    • Prioritize live service investments to advance EAX learnings and improve business results
    • Lead initiatives to deliver console subscriptions to new platforms
    • Deliver Player Network  functionality in console applications
  • Develop business relationships with studio teams to communicate progress and drive adoption

Candidate Requirements

  • 10 years experience in console development and cross-collaboration between partners, both internal and external
  • In depth understanding of the gaming industry and software subscription services
  • Demonstrated ability of building mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external partners
  • Strong understanding of NA & EU HD gaming industry, development, platforms, and ecosystems
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Incredible people skills and deep comfort in managing through influence and indirect authority
  • Confident team collaborator who is comfortable taking direction or setting direction
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of management
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and partner/influence across complex organizations
  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred
